Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are two conventional streams in engineering. Mechanical Engineering in layman terms can be termed as the study of automobile machines and mechanics related to that. B.Tech in Civil Engineering course primarily focuses on design, construction and maintenance of buildings and associated structures. These evergreen streams of engineering help graduates to obtain a rewarding career in either private sector companies or governmental departments/Organizations.
Eligibility requirements and application procedure for B.Ed course may vary slightly with each University. Generally, graduation in any of streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, or Music is considered as the necessary eligibility. Certain colleges/Universities offer admission to the course on the basis of marks scored in qualifying exam. Some others carry out common entrance test like CSSET for selection purpose. Applications for such entrance test and admission can be forwarded via the official website of the concerned college.
Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’, Assistant Hindi, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’, Civilian Driver ‘A’, Security Assistant ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman, are the positions for which DRDO conducts the CEPTAM entrance test. This test is carried out in an objective type model. These multiple choice questions must be answered in an OMR sheet. Duration of this entrance exam is 2 hours. The total number of questions in this exam is 150.
