Food Safety and Standards Authority of India comes under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The authority actually came into existence under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The authority was founded with the aim for laying down science based standards for article of food. The head office of the authority is located at Delhi. The important individuals of the authority are Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer and both of these are appointed by Government of India only. CPT examination is called as CA CPT and it stands for Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test and this examination is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI). It is the entry level examination for candidates who wish to take up Chartered Accountancy course from the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. The examination is conducted four times a year during February, May/June, August and November months.
Civil Service Examination is being conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the examination includes two stages of written test namely; preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Generally, UPSC issues notification to the preliminary examination in magazines/dailies/employment news/ UPSC web site during the Month of November or December each year, for the examination to be conducted in the month of May of the following year.

GATE denotes ‘Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering’ and score obtained by candidates in this examination is being used for the purpose of admission of students to PG courses in Technology and Science. The examination is administered by Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), which are prestigious institutions for higher education in India.
MCA is expanded as Master of Computer Applications and it is a three-year PG degree course divided into six semesters.
