The district of Pathanamthitta in the Indian state of Kerala is the youngest district located in the southern part of the nation. Chaudhary Devi Lal University came into existence in the year 2003 on the 2nd of April and the university was given this name in honor of the Jan Nayak Chudhary Devi Lal, who was the Deputy Prime Minister of the nation and was also a former Chief Minister of the state of Haryana. The university offers 40 different courses through its 16 teaching departments and the university has well equipped laboratories, library and separate hostels for girls and boys. The university is served by experience and reputed professionals and academicians and the experience of these people are used by the University for consulting them in preparing the curriculum for different courses.

APSRSAC, which is Abbreviated as Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre is an autonomous society functioning under the AP Government. This centre is registered under the AP Societies Registration Act 2001, the principal secretary of the Planning Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh is acting as the chairperson of the centre. In the state of AP, this centre is a nodal agency for application of GIS and Remote Sensing Technology for management and inventory of resource.
