Swami Vivekanand B. Ed College came into existence in the academic year 2004-05 for the purpose of promotion of quality education in the states of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. The college offers teacher education course with affiliation from the Dr. Harisingh Gour University located in Sagar. The college has also earned approval from the National Council of Teacher Education.
Kurukshetra University was established in the year 1956 under the Government of India. The university is situated in Haryana, India. Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, who was a great Sanskrit scholar, was the first one who dreamt about establishing a university for promoting Indian Culture and traditions. The university has an urban campus which is spreaded in an area of over 400 acres. The first ever department of the university was Department of Sanskrit and it was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who was the first president of India. The major function of this organization is to carry out the R&D in IT, Electronics etc. The major objective behind the establishment of the organization was to built supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by United States of America. Awasthi is the Managing Director of the company. The company is one of the largest fertiliser cooperative federation in the world. The company is registered as a Multistate Cooperative Society. There are 40 thousands member cooperative present in the company. The revenue of the company raised to Rs. 33 Crore approximatley in the year 2008-2009.
