Candidates who have completed Diploma course in Electrical Engineering (either 2 year or 3 year diploma courses) with a minimum of 60% marks can apply for B.Tech course in Thapar University. B.Sc (Non medical) graduates can also apply for the same. Selection process will be depend on Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET –TU) conducted by this university. The pattern of the exam consists of objective model questions from subject areas like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English & Reasoning and Electrical Engineering.

Indian Air force invites applications from female citizens for courses commencing to different branches of flying, technical and ground duty. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted for selection process. The entrance examination comprises of multiple choice questions from subjects like reasoning, GK, military aptitude, verbal ability and numerical ability. Duration of the test is 2 hours. On qualifying this exam, candidates need to attend three further stages of screening process to confirm their final selection.
