Employees’ State Insurance Corporation invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Professor to work for the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research located at Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi on direct recruitment basis.

• Pul. Medicine

• Surgery

• Orthopaedics

• Anaesthesia

• Radiology

• Obst. & Gyn.

• Microbiology

• Biochemistry

Number of Vacancies: 55 (UR – 20, SC – 10, ST – 06 and OBC – 19)

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 AGP Rs. 10000

Eligibility requirement:

Age Requirement: Candidates should not be more than 50 years of age, which is relaxed up to five years for employees of ESIC and government servants.

Educational Qualification:

For non-medical candidates:

Candidates must be PG degree holders in respective/allied disciplines and they should also have completed doctoral programme in respective/allied field.

Experience: Candidates must possess 14 years of teaching/research experience in appropriate specialty from a recognized institution after completion of the qualifying degree (i.e.) MD/MS for medical candidates and doctoral course for non-medical candidates. Application Fee:

For general category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 225 and ex-servicemen, female candidates, departmental/PWD/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates will have to draw a DD for an amount of Rs. 225 in any scheduled bank in favor of E.S.I. Fund Account No.1 payable at New Delhi and this should be submitted along with system generated hard copy of application.
