Employees’ State Insurance Corporation was incorporated under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The corporation was actually founded by the Central Government of India. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to have a responsible body for protecting the interest and benefits of the workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc. All such problems of the workers results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The corporation is also responsible or infact hold the responsibility of administrating the ESI scheme.

Job Profile:

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is recruiting well qualified and experienced candidates on the post of Specialist in Junior Scale. Candidates will be posted in different states such as Andhra Pardesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir etc.

Eligibility:

Maximum age limit set for the post of Specialist in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is 45 years. No candidates should exceed this age limit. Candidates, who are having age more than 45 years should not apply for the specified post in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. Any application from uneligible candidates will not be considered by the corporation.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have atleast Graduation as their educational qualification otherwise their applications will not be considered by Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. Some years of experience in the relevant field is also desirable by the corproation for the specified post.

Andhra Pardesh-23, Gujarat-38, Jharkhand-19, Assam-4, Kerala-53, Maharashtra-18, Bihar-6, Delhi-36, Karnataka-28, Orissa-8, Tamil Nadu-20, West Bengal-29, Jammu & Kashmir-10, Madhya Pardesh-30, Punjab-20 and Haryana-10.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 alongwith a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600. Selected candidates will also get non practicing allowance in addition to the prescribed amount of salary.

Application Fee:

The Demand Draft of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted by the General Category candidates as application fee for the post. Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee that is need to be sent by the SC/ST candidates only. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ESI Corporation payable at regional place. Application fee submitted through some other means will not accepted by the corporation.

Selection Process:

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation will conduct a competitive written examination for making selection of the candidates. But this written test is not the only criteria for the selection of the candidates. Qualified candidates of this written test will have to face a personal interview test also in order to confirm their selection in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation.

How to apply: Application must be made in the prescribed format only. Also the application and copies of other required certificates must reach on or before 27 January 2011.
