The foundation stone for Saint Claret College, Ziro shortly called as SCCZ was laid in the year 2002 in the month of December and the college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. The college began its functionalities from the academic year 2003 from the 11th of August. The college is managed and owned by Claretian Formation Association, which is a registered charitable society. The college has been achieving highest pass percentage right from its inception in the examinations conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University.

The college is offering both general and honors degree courses in the faculty of arts and the list of subjects covered under these degrees are given below:

In addition to the above-mentioned courses, the college is also offering Diploma in Computer application.

Eligibility for Admission in the college:

For getting admission to the bachelor’s courses offered by the college, the candidate must have passed higher secondary examination and the candidate should satisfy other norms set by the Rajiv Gandhi University as well.

Admission procedure:

The admission process involves written test followed by interview and payment of prescribed fee. Candidates succeeding in the written test will be called for interview for which parents/guardian must accompany the student.

Scholarship/Financial Aid:

The state government of Arunachal Pradesh offers stipends to the scheduled tribe students, who have maintained a minimum of 75% attendance and students eligible for this can apply through the college. In addition to this, the college is also offering single step scholarship and continuation scholarship for deserving students. In the single-step scholarship, a scholarship of Rs.1500 is offered to 50 meritorious girl students.
