Saradha Gangadharan College began to function from the academic year 2001-2002 and it is affiliated to Pondicherry University. The college was established by Sri Saradha Gangadharan Education Trust and it was awarded with 10 acres of land by the chairman of this trust. The college is offering education through five of its departments namely, commerce & management, chemistry, physics, computer science, applications & IT, mathematics and languages.

Computer Facilities:

The computer science department of the college is well equipped with excellent computing facilities for lab and teaching work. The college has 4 labs containing 85 personal computers, 20 MPs and 25 digital kits with UPS and different software programs like Linux, Windows 2003 Professional, Windows 2003 Server, etc….Recently, the college has introduced a Wireless LAN lab containing 45 systems for the purpose of introducing new technology to the students.

Admission:

Admission for UG courses is made by the college on the basis of the marks secured by the students in their higher secondary examination and in the case of the PG courses, marks secured by students in their UG course will be considered.
