Council of Scientific and Industrial Research was established in the year 1942 as an autonomous body under the Government of India. Prime Minister of India is the chairman of the council. Professor Sameer K. Brahmachari is the Director General of the council. It has a staff of around 17 thousand people. The council is located at Anusandhan Bhawan, Rafi Marg. The council includes the research and development activities in various fields

Educational Qualification: Gradute Degree is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
2. Recruitment of Scientist-EI:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Gradute Degree is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.
3. Recruitment of Scientist-EII:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Gradute Degree is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.
4. Recruitment of Scientist-F:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Post Gradute Degree is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8900.
Selection Process:
A personal interview test is the only selection criteria set for all the above four specified posts in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research.
