Technical Officer, Indian Council of Agricultural Research
Council profile: The Indian council of agricultural research is responsible for the research and development work in the field of agricultural and related sciences. It also manages various institutions under it. It is reputed organization and is responsible for many achievements in the recent past.
Job profile: The technical officers will be required to work in the agriculture filed. They will also be responsible for the management of various activities and their supervision. They will also be required to work on various technicalities.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be post graduate with a Master’s degree in agro-meteorology or agricultural engineering or agricultural sciences. A candidate must be capable of working with the statistical data, must have experience in agro-advisory work and handling inter-institution assignments.
No. of posts: There are 2 posts in total which include 1 post each for Mizoram and Basar.
Pay scale: The technical officers will get a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs5400 and the other facilities as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview but the candidates will be first screened on the basis of their qualifications or they may be called to appear for a written test.
