The design analysis of algorithms paper contains questions on the design and analysis of the problems of algorithms and flowchart. The problems are on the program and its algorithm. These problems are sorted or solved by analyzing and designing suitable algorithm for the problem. The basic knowledge of the designing and analysis of the algorithm is tested in the paper.

Paper pattern:
The paper of Vedavyasa Institute of Technology B.Tech in Computer Science-6th sem Design and Analysis of Algorithms Paper follows the simple format that all the other paper of Calicut university follows. The paper has all together 21 questions in it. The paper is divided into two prime sections with these 21 questions. The section A has 15 questions of 5 marks each. Out of these 15, candidates require to answer any 12. The other section is of 40 marks only, and has 5 questions in it. All the questions in the section B is of 8 mark each. The entire 5 question is compulsory; however, candidates have internal choices in this section.

The total marks of the paper are 100, and the time duration given to the candidates for answering the paper is 3 hours only.
