National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur was established in the year 1986 inder the Government of India as a Regional Engineering College. The institute was established as a result of the co-operation of the Government of India and Goverment of Himachal Pradesh. The major objective of the institute is to provide various gourses for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate Education in the field of Engineering.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Profesor in the areas of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering etc.
1. Recruitment of Professor:
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than the prescribed age limit set for the post.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree or equivalent is required from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.
2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than the prescribed age limit set for the post.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree or equivalent is required from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.
3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than the prescribed age limit set for the post.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree or equivalent is required from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.
Selection process:
Candidates selection on the above specified posts will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written test and the personal interview session with the selection committee.
