The institute comes under the Government of India and was formally established on March 17, 1947. The institute comes under the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Senior Technical Assistant and Laboratory Technician in Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age for the post of Senior Technical Assistant and not more than 30 years for the post of Laboratory Technician.

Educational Qualification:

M.Sc. in Zoology is required for the posts of Senior Technical Assistant while B.F.Sc. is required for the posts of Laboratory Technician.
