Profile:
The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was established in the year 2005 on the 12th of April. The main objective of National Rural Health Mission is to provide effective health care to the entire rural population in the country. It specially focuses on 18 states that have weak public health indicators. Some of the goals of NRHM are reduction in Infant Mortality Rate & Maternal Mortality Ratio, universal immunization against major childhood illnesses, prevention & control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and preparation of Panchayat level Health Action Plan. It also aims to perform architectural correction of the health system in order to facilitate it to effectively handle increased allocations as promised under the National Common Minimum Programme. It opens the National Rural Health Mission Vacancies every year regularly.

Selection Process:
Selection for the post is based on written test followed by an interview. Only eligible candidates will be called for the interview. The written test will be held this year. The syllabus for the written test will be given in the notification issued by the NRHM.
