Consultant NPPCF, Epidemiologists, Punjab National Rural Health Mission
Punjab National Rural Health Mission was founded with the objective of achieving health indicators like Infant Mortality Rate, Maternal Motality Ratio and Total Fertility Rate. The mission also aims to revitalize local health traditions and mainstream AYUSH into the public health system. The mission has different strategies such as traning and enhancing the capacity of Panchayati Raj Institutions, streangthning sub center, intergrating vertical Health and Family Welfare programs etc. Reorienting medical education to support rural health issues, is one of the supplimentary strategy of the mission.
Job Profile:
Punjab National Rural Health Mission invites online applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following vacant positions of Consultant NPPCF and Epidemiologists under State Health Society. All recruitments will be made on contractual basis only under National Rural Health Mission. Candidates will have to serve in the districts named Ferozpur, Amritsar, Barnala, Hoshiarpur, Faridkot, Gurdaspur, Muktsar, Sangrur, Tarntaran and Ludhiana. Also, number of posts may increase or decrease.
Eligibility:
Candidates’s age should not exceed the maximum age limit set for the posts under any circumstances. Candidates possessing age more than the upper age limit set, should not apply for the desired position.
Upper age limit for the post of Consultant NPPCF: 65 years.
Upper age limit for the post of Epidemiologists: 65 years.
Educational Qualification:
For the post of Consultant NPPCF: MBBS Degree is desirable for the post alongwith the with Post Graduation Degree in Community Health Administration or Social Preventive Medicine or Community Medicine.
For the post of Epidemiologists: Candidates possessing MBBS degree with atleast 3 years experience in Epidemiology or Public Health, are eligible for the post. However, MBBS Degree is desirable for the post alongwith the with Post Graduation Degree in Community Health Administration or Social Preventive Medicine or Community Medicine.

Pay Scale:
Consultant NPPCF: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.
Epidemiologists: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.
Selection Process:
The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the official website of Punjab National Rural Health Mission. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the personal interview test that will be held on a specific date. A selection committee will take the interview ttest of each and every candidates.
