Indian Institute of Craft and Design was established in 1999 by the State Government of Rajasthan. It was set up in a free form Institute, in which candidates belonging to any cadre of the state can apply for the course and get admitted and receive the most extravagant quality education in this field. The Ambuja Educational Institutes group manages the institutes and offers great excellence which acts as a catalyst to activate this course within the national domain.

The Institute features a uniquely designed Centralized form of Library which endorses thousands of volumes of study material, enabling the candidates no form of loss when concerned for the same. The Institute has been established with a motive of implementing huge boost to the course and help candidates explore their skills and develop them to earn. The Institute also houses great Hostels, separately designed for boys and girls. The Hostel is equipped with state of the art infrastructure and candidates can explore them with great zest and exultance. The Institute has been approved by the AICTE and offers courses accredited by it, and undertakes only the deserving candidates through an entrance test, which is held on an annual basis on every last week of the month of February.

2. Home Textiles (Floor Covering and Furnishing)

Eligibility criteria:

•    Candidates must have cleared 10+2 level from the recognized University to be eligible for this 4 year course.
•    Candidates must have completed degree course with at least 60% aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this 2.5 years course. However candidates who belong to the reservation categories enjoy relaxation in the above eligibility criterion.
•    Diploma holder’s candidates are allowed to offer for the course. The exact eligibility criterion can be availed from the official website of the institute.
