BEML Limited is also known as Bharat Earth Movers Limited. The company was founded in the year of 1964 under Government of India. The company is best known as Public Sector Undertaking. The company is a famous manufacturing company which mainly delas in the manufacturing of rail coaches and the other spare parts. The other fields in which the company deals includes the manufacturing of mining & construction equipment, aerospace, dredger and defence equipments. There are total 9 manufacturing units of the comapnt at present. All the nine manufacturing units are spreaded over different locations.

Job Profile:

A pioneering multibusiness heavy engineering company named BEML Limited is recruiting eligible candidates on the posts of Assistant Engineer Trainees Grade-I in its various manufacturing units at Mysore, Bangalore etc. Candidates will have to serve the company for atleast a period of 4 years failing which candidates are liable to pay the liquidated damages of prescribed amount.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not have age more than 26 years as on 16 February 2011 or as on closing date for the reciept of application. Candidates, who are not eligible for the post, should not apply in the company otherwise their candidature will be cancelled straightaway. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation of some years in the age criteria set for the post.

Educational Qualification:

Full time Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by UGC or AICTE. Candidates should have done the Bachelor’s degree only in the disciplines of Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Automobile or Production Engineering. Candidates having Bachelor’s degree in any other stream or discipline are not eligible for the post. OBC category candidates are rquired to have atleast 70% marks in aggregate in their Bachelor’s degree. However, ST category candidates are required to have 60% marks in aggregate respectively.

No. of posts: 30 posts are available in total (ST-11 and OBC-19).

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the starting basic pay of Rs. 16400 per month in the pay scale of Rs. 16400-40500 during their training period.

Application Fee:

All OBC category candidate are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. But ST category candidates are not required to pay this application fee at all. The application fee is need to be paid by the means of a payment challan which is available at BEML website. Candidates should submit the application fee of prescribed amount in State Bank of India in the BEML Account No. 31006750220.

Selection Process:

There are mainly two phases in the selection process for the specified post in BEML Limited:
i. Competitive Written Examination.
ii. Personal Interview Test.

Only eligible candidates will be called for written test and then for interview test.
