Bachelor of Design course is a UG level course that extends to a period of three or four years. It is degree belonging to the faculty of arts and it is offered in a number of branches like:

Duration of the course & Eligibility:

The duration of Bachelor of Design course in the aforesaid branches of National Institute of Fashion Technology is four years. For seeking admission to the different branches of Bachelor of Designing course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any stream of education.

Admission Procedure:

NIFTs admit candidates to the B. Des course based on their performance in the entrance test followed by interview and group discussion. Normally, NIFTs reserve 7.5%, 15% and 3% of seats for ST, SC and for students belonging to foreign countries respectively. However, the percentage of reservation might change.

Higher studies after Bachelor of Design course:

On completion of Bachelor of Designing course in any branch, candidates can take up their Master’s degree in the respective branch or they can also do Post Graduate diploma course in that particular branch of engineering.

Job prospects after completion of Bachelor of Design course:

Bachelor of Design graduates are offered with a wide range of employment opportunities since each of the aforesaid branches of this course has a great demand in the job market. For instance, in the case of interior designing course candidates can find job opportunities in top architecture and construction companies or they can also start their own business since each and every organization look for experts to do the interior designing of their organization.

Above all, with the increasing number of corporate offices in India, B. Des graduates, who start their own business, can get projects from a number of individuals and organizations as well. This is applicable to all branches of B.     hi i have completed my +2 in 2008 after that i have done some certified courses like in civil autocad, structural, electrical hvac and 3dmax and it is necessary to write entrance exam i dont now about the knowledge of these exams i want to do 1 year diploma course in iti government in hyderabad plz suggest how can i take admission these government colleges in iti related field.

Could u plz suggest me. and i have completed my +2 in 2008 & i have done certified courses in civil like autocad civil structural electrical hvac and 3ds max. in hyderabad only plz suggest me a college
