Paper Pattern:

The subject of Linear IC applications is a technical paper and questions asked are of numerical type as well as subjective type. The paper has 7-8 questions in it and 5 out of it are to be attempted, all questions are of long answer type. The questions are of equal marks. All questions are with their sub-questions in it. The questions are of a very good standard and some questions are required to be solving with required diagram.  The questions are of a very simple pattern.

The paper of Linear IC applications is a technical paper and questions asked are such as constant bias circuit in operation of di eventual ample, thermal drift & slew rate, triangular wave using a square wave generator, an application in which the 555 timer can be used, large open circuit voltage gain, saw tooth wave form generator, IC 1496 and its applications, Sample and hold circuit etc. The questions are of equal marks.

Total marks and time allotted:

A student can get a maximum of 80 marks in this paper and the time given to the students to solve this is 3 hours only. The question is of 16 marks each and these questions are divided into sub-questions.
