Hospital profile: ABG hospital is a govt. hospital. It is one of the reputed hospitals in Delhi. It is specially meant for poor people. It has good doctors and good faculty too. It has good health care and emergency facilities.

Job profile: The residents will be responsible for taking care of the patients and treat them. They will also be responsible for preparing medical reports and assisting their seniors. They will be learning a lot of things during this period.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 30 years for junior resident and 35 years for senior resident. However, relaxation can be claimed.

Educational Qualifications: For junior residents – A candidate must be have an MBBS degree and must have completed the internship by 31.08.09. For senior residents – A candidate must have a post graduate degree/diploma from a recognized university.

No. of posts: There are 26 posts (including 1 for dental) for junior residents and 30 posts for senior residents.

Pay scale: The junior residents will be given a pay of Rs15600 plus a grade pay of Rs5400 and the senior residents will be given a pay of Rs18750 plus a grade pay of Rs6600.

Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance during the interview.

The candidates are required to pay a fee in the form of a DD of Rs500 (for GEN) and Rs200 (for others) in the favor of Medical Superintendent Acharyashree Bhikshu Govt. Date of Interview: For junior residents – 17th September 2009 and for senior residents it is 22nd September 2009.
