Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank came into existence in the year 1976 on the 20th of December and the bank is fully sponsored by the Union Bank Of India, Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Indian Government. The headquarters of the bank is located in the city of Rewa in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The branches of the bank is located in different districts in Madhya Pradesh like Singrouli, Mangawon, Rewa and Sidhi, the bank was established with the objective of upliftment of rural section of community.

Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank has called for online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Office Assistant (multipurpose) and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank in this respect are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Office Assistants (Multipurpose) (Post Code: 04)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 80, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

UR – 44

OBC – 25

ST – 04

SC – 07

Of these 80 posts, 03 posts are reserved for PWD candidates inclusive of VI, HI and OC candidates.

Period of Probation – Period of Probation for Office Assistant Position is one year

Pay Scale: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Office Assistant in Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university and they should be proficient in Hindi/local language. Desirable qualification is knowledge of computers.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in written test and interview. The written test for the position of Office Assistant is proposed to be held on 29th of January 2012.

Cost of application:

The application fee to be paid by SC/ST/person with disability is Rs.50 and the amount to be paid by other candidate is Rs.350. This amount should be paid by the candidates through either through Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank challan – 01 or Union Bak of India challan - 02 that can be obtained from the website of Rewa Sidhi Gramin Bank at www.rsgbrewa.in. After filling in the required details in the challan form, the fee should be paid either through RS Gramin bank or UBI, the account number in the case of UBI for which the amount should deposited is 586901020050000 and for RSGB, it is 111011010036040.  Once the fee is paid, candidates will have to retain the candidate copy of the challan to be produced at the time of written test. Application fee should be paid between 22nd November 2011 to 21st December 2011.
