Paper pattern:

The paper contains 8 questions in all. The candidates are required to answer 5 of them. Each question contains threw or more sub questions. No question in the question paper is compulsory but the candidate is required to answer 5 from 8 questions.

Time allotted and maximum marks:

The time allotted for this examination is 3 hours which should be spent in answering the questions properly. The extra ten minutes allotted for reading the question papers helps the students in getting well versed with the question paper. This time should be spent wisely for maximum output.

The maximum marks that the question paper carries are 100. The questions carry unequal marks.

Marks distribution:

The paper has 8 broad questions. The candidates are required to answer 5 from the 8 questions. Each question contains 20 marks. These questions are further divided into sub questions. The marks allotted for each question is given at the right hand side of the question paper corresponding to the questions. The questions should be answered in accordance with the marks.

Points to remember:

The question paper is based on numerical as with the subject. The questions are also based on derivations.  The students are required keep the formulas and derivation in mind as it will help in scoring better. The question paper is very subjective and based on formulas. Hence a thorough knowledge of the subject is required for better answering. The required values are given in each question hence the answer should be according to the values given.
