Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan is similar to the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan which comes under the administrative control of the Department of School Education and literacy of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The main aim behind the establishment of this abhiyan is to achieve Universal Access and Quality Secondary Education. The abhiyan also aims to develop the Secondary Education Management Information System and the full responsibility for this has been given to the Department of Education Planning, National University of Educational Planning and Administration.

Job Profile:

Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan is making recruitment of eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacant posts of Principal, Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduate Teacher. Only eligible Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Recruitment of candidates will be done under Model School Project, Commissioner and Director School Education & Ex-Officio Project.

1. Recruitment of Principal:
No. of posts: 355 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age more than 35 years but not more than 45 years as on 1 July 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess minimum educational qualification i.e. two year integrated Post Graduate course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 20680-46960 per month.

Posts of Post Graduate Teacher are available in Telugu, English, Maths, Physics, Zoology, Chemistry, Commerce, Civics, Botany and Economics.

2. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher:
No. of posts: 4615 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age more than 18 years but not more than 39 years as on 1 July 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess minimum educational qualification i.e. two year integrated Post Graduate course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16150-42590 per month.

Posts of Trained Graduate Teacher are available in Telugu, English, Maths, Hindi, Social Studies, Science and Maths.

3. Recruitment of Trained Graduate Teacher:
No. of posts: 2130 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age more than 18 years but not more than 39 years as on 1 July 2012.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess minimum educational qualification i.e. four year integrated Post Graduate course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14860-39540 per month.

Application Fee:

Interested candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 250 only. The application fee must be paid through the APONLINE or e-seva only. The payment of application fee is need to be done between 28 February 2012 to 15 March 2012.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates will be made through the conduct of a Written Test. Written Test for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher and Trained Graduates Teacher, will be held on 10 May 2012 while written test for the post of Principal will be held on 11 May 2012.

How to apply: Applications must be made through online mode only. Applications recieved through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates will be allowed to apply online from 29 February 2012 onwards. Candidates must apply online on or before the last date for the reciept of online application.
