Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development shortly called as RGNIYD is an autonomous institution working under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the institute is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The institute is fully funded by the Indian Government and it is located at a place called Sriperumbudur, which is 40 minutes away from Chennai, which is the cultural and commercial capital of the third most industrialized states in the nation, Tamil Nadu. The institute is functioning as a Deemed University and it endeavors to facilitate the development of youth with conducive tools and environment that will enable the future citizens to make the most of their natural potential and to realize their aspiration.

Eligibility requirement:

For getting into the PG courses offered by the RGNIYD, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with at least 45% of marks and selection of candidates with be done based on their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university for admission of students from different parts of the nation.
