There are very few institutes in the country that offer courses in the field of the medical sciences. Importance of the paper

There are various courses that are a part of the medical field that are offered here at the university. They are all important and one of them is ophthalmic. This field in particular is related with the eyes and thus it is a very complicated subject. The paper is very exhaustive as the candidates taking the exams are expected to be treating the patients in real life in future. This is the reason that no incompetency can be allowed to creep in the regime of studies.

Format

The whole Ophthalmology paper I consists of two pars and each part consists of four long descriptive type questions.

Marking

Both the parts consist of four questions each that carry five marks. The total marks of the paper are thus 40.

Time Allotted

A total time for answering the question paper is 3 hours and the candidate needs to make the best use of it.

Paper pattern

There are four questions in both the parts and there are no choices. The candidate is expected to attempt all the questions and answer these questions in detail, as much as possible. The candidate is supposed to use separate answer sheets for each part..
