Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies invites applications for Master of Business Administration courses every year. The institute conducts its own entrance test called Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) for the admission to its MBA programs. NMAT is online entrance test conducted in India as well abroad.

Eligibility

Admission to this institute is done  on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test. A graduate with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from UGC recognized University is eligible to apply. Final year candidates can also apply for the test only if they have secured the minimum cut off in the NMAT exam and provide all supporting documents.

Courses and Eligibility

MBA Core - Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate is the basic qualification required for this course. Candidates should pass their qualifying exam in first attempt for this course.

MBA Actuarial Science - Graduates in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Engineering or Computer Science with 50% marks in first attempt are eligible to apply. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ICWA or ACA are also eligible.

MBA Pharmaceutical Management - Graduation in Pharmacy Science/ Life Sciences/ MBBS/ BDS / BSMS/ BHMS/ BAMS/ BUMS, B.Sc or M.Sc in Biotechnology with 50% marks in aggregate is the eligibility criteria for this course. Post graduates in Economics / Sociology / Psychology can also apply.

Candidates who have completed their studies in regular/ full time programme are eligible to apply. Candidates having work experience of 2 or more years are given preference for the admission. Candidates can apply for more than one programme as well as campus according to their eligibility.

Exam pattern

The NMAT exam comprises of questions to test Quantitative skills, Language skills and Logical reasoning ability of the candidate. There will be multiple choice objective type questions in which candidates can chose the correct answer. The duration of the test is 2 hours and there will not be any negative marks for wrong answer from the given options. There will be 32 questions in Language section, 48 questions from Quantitative part and 40 questions from logical reasoning.

Candidates are required to perform well in each section as there will be specific cut offs for each section. The scores obtained in each section as well as in over all tests are considered to shortlist the candidates for the second stage of selection process.  Selected candidates will be intimated for the group discussion and personal interview.
