The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has invited applications for filling 279 vacancies available for the profile of ‘Stipendiary Trainee’. Pass in HSC with a minimum of 60% marks is enough to apply for ‘Stipendiary Trainee (Plant Operator)’ where as HSC + certificate in concerned trade is required for other trades. For certain trades like Laboratory, Instrumentation, and Electrical, ITI/NCVT qualification is also mandatory. Age of the applicant must fall between 18 and 22 years. Reserved category candidates can expect concession in maximum age limit.

Eligibility Criteria for BARC Stipendiary Trainee (Plant Operator) Recruitment 2013

HSC (10+2) passed candidates are eligible to apply. HSC class studies must be completed in science stream with a minimum of 60% marks. Such candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for BARC Stipendiary Trainee (Laboratory) Recruitment 2013

HSC (10+2) passed candidates in Science stream are eligible to apply. HSC class studies must be completed with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Such candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

Or

HSC passed candidates in subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or SSC passed candidates with a minimum of 60% marks can apply, provided they must hold a trade certificate in laboratory. The ITI/NCVT qualification should be obtained in either of the following.

  • ITI/NCVT of 2 years duration
  • ITI of one-year duration + One year work experience after completion of the course

Eligibility Criteria for BARC Stipendiary Trainee (Library Science) Recruitment 2013

HSC passed candidates in science stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks are eligible. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. Those with certificate in library science and work experience in library will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria for BARC Stipendiary Trainee (All Other Trades) Recruitment 2013

HSC/SSC passed candidates with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply. HSC passed candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. Such candidates should hold trade certificate in any of the concerned trade. The ITI/NCVT qualification should be obtained in either of the following.

  • ITI/NCVT of 2 years duration
  • ITI of one-year duration + One year work experience after completion of the course

Age of the applicant must fall between 18 and 22 years. A maximum of 3 year age relaxation is given for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
