AMG College of Education for Women is affiliated to Andhra University and it was formed in the academic year 2003-2004. Due to the rigorous theoretical and practical training offered by the college, the students are getting benefitted. The two important areas of the service of this college are health and education and in addition to these two activities, some other activities like calamities relief, famines, floods and fire accidents relief are offered by the college. The college is permitted to carry out training in the field of teacher training by the National Council for Teacher Education.

Infrastructure Facilities:

The campus of the college is well-equipped with many infrastructure facilities like labs, spacious airy classrooms, a big playground and a library. The other facilities are a physical education lab, a music & arts lab, one psychology lab, a computer lab, education technology lab, etc…

Results shown by the college:

The college has been functioning from the academic year 2003-2004 and till now, seven academic years have passed and the college has acquired 100% result in three years and 99% result in two years. So, the college is well-maintaining its record of successful students.

Admission procedure:

Admission is made by the college on the basis of the marks secured by the students in the common entrance test, which is conducted on the basis of the rules and regulations issued by the Government from time to time. The minimum qualification for getting admission to the D. Ed program is a pass in 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in the case of OC, SC and 40% in the case of PHC, SC/ST.
