South Malabar Gramin Bank was established in the year 1976. The Bank is one of the largest Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in India in terms of total business. The Bank works under the Regional Rural Banks Act 1976. The Bank is sponsored by the Canara Bank.

South Malabar Gramin Bank invites application from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager (Officer Scale-I).

Pay Scale – Rs. 14500 - 25700 with total starting emoluments of Rs. 22,600/- per month + other allowances as per rules of the Bank.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 26 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have a Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from any recognized University. They must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking Malayalam Language.
