Christian College of Education at Anand is running under the Gujarat Christian Service Society, which established the college. The college is shortly called as CCE and it began its journey from the academic year 2007-08. The college offers education with affiliation from the Sardar Patel University at Vallabh Vidyanagar. The college is recognized by the State Government of Gujarat and it is also recognized by the National Council of Teachers’ Education of the Western Region.

Course Details:

Christian College of Education offers Bachelor of Education course, whose duration is one year divided into two semesters. Degree is conferred by the Sardar Patel University and the university has admitted the college to admit 100 students per year for the course. For practical each trainee is needed to give 15 lessons in each method there by making a total of 30 lessons.  Candidates with graduation in any discipline with at least 50% of marks or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply and the required percentage of marks for reserved category candidates is 45%.

Admission Process:

Centralized admission process is followed for admission of students to the Christian College of Education, which means that admission is processed by the affiliating university. Advertisement calling for applications from eligible candidates is issued in leading English and Hindi Newspapers during the month of December/January. In the case of candidates from other universities other than Sardar Patel University or university outside Gujarat will have to submit migration certification from the Sardar Patel University.
