government school teacher job ?
any new government rule has come to increase the age bar ????

Upper age limit for candidates applying for Government teachers post was increased to 37 years (General Category candidates) in 2012. And that age limit is applied till now.

For Other Backward Caste and Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste candidates need to be below 40 and 42 years respectively.

You first need to appear in TET exam which is a state level Teacher Eligibility Test for getting eligible for the government teacher job. To become a government teacher you must have a D.Ed. or a B.Ed. degree.

D.Ed. (Diploma in Education) candidates are eligible to apply for the primary section i.e., from 1st to 5th standard.

B.Ed. (Bachelor in Education) candidates are eligible to apply for the secondary section i.e. 6th to 10th standard.

For getting a teacher job in a Government school in Kerala you have clear TET (Teacher's Eligibility Test). For TET one must have B.Ed qualification with at least 50% marks. Reserved category candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in marks.

The age limit for getting a Government teaching job is 37 years for General category. There is age relaxation available for candidates who belong to reserved category.

Therefore, if you have got B.Ed qualification and you want to get a government teaching job, then you must be prepared for TET. Most of the states in India conduct their TET for recruiting teachers in a government school. You can also apply for CBSE TET which is for government teaching job in central government CBSE schools.
