Post Graduate Teacher, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board
Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board was established with the aim of having a governing body for making recruitment on the government positions under Government of Himachal Pradesh. The board actually came into existence under the Government of Himachal Pradesh which in turn comes under the Government of India. The board is responsible for making recruitment of eligible candidates on the government positions which comes under the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The commission conducts competitive written examination and personal interview test/group discussion.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacant posts of Post Graduate Teacher in various departments of Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board. The vacancies are available in the disciplines of English, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Music-Vocal, Music-Instrument and Information Practices. Candidates will be recruited for the post purely on contract basis only.
1. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (English):
No. of posts: Only 126 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
2. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Commerce):
No. of posts: Only 103 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
3. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Physics):
No. of posts: Only 17 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
4. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Chemistry):
No. of posts: Only 23 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.

5. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Biology):

Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.

6. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Music (Vocal or Instrument)):
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
7. Recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (Informatics Practices):
No. of posts: Only 767 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
How to apply: Application form in the prescribed format can be obtained by candidates from the post offices or sub post offices located in state of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 170 in cash for the application form (Rs. 65 for reserved categories candidates). The application should reach to the following address on or before the last date.

I have passed M.Sc. Physics and PGDIT. I have also applied for the post of PGT Infomation Practices. Recently I came to know that the candidates who have passed MSc IT or PGDIT are not eligible for these posts. They are just concidering only PGDCA and MSc (CA). But some of universities concider these two IT or CA (computer application) equivalent.
Pls tell me wether I m eligible for this post or not? If yes then from where I can get a legal document? If not then why? Pls tell me in detail.
