i was completed bca in 2009 with 70% can i elligible for govt teacher posts ,what are the procedures to apply for the post of govt teacher ?

i have passed bca with above 70% and now i am doing mca through ignou . how can i become a computer teacher in government and management schools?

A Bachelor of Computer Applications degree alone is not enough for the government teaching job. You must also pursue bachelor of education course which is one year long in duration. After completing Bachelor of Education you will be eligible for government teaching job.

Bachelor of Education course is specifically for the candidates who want teaching job. Even in private schools, B.Ed degree is required for teaching job. Depending on the graduation course of the candidate, he/she is trained to teach different subjects. For example arts graduates are trained to teach subjects like History, Geography and languages.


Eligibility

1. A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. OBC candidates need 45 percent marks.

4. SC/ST candidates need 40 percent marks.

5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3.


Teachers Eligibility Test

Once you have completed the Bachelor of Education, feel free to apply for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. This test is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for teaching jobs in government schools like Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Tibetan schools etc.


Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen to apply.

2. A graduation degree in any stream.

3. At least 50 percent marks in graduation.

4. A B.Ed degree is also mandatory.

5. There is no upper age limit to apply for CTET.

Hello,
The minimum eligibility to become a lecturer in government school you must have graduation degree in respective subjects.
The Candidates are required to have clear the TET or other exams held for the eligibility test to become a teacher.
To get a job as a lecturer or assistant professor in the government university and colleges, you must have a post graduation degree. after completing the post graduation, you need to qualify the NET/ SET exam. UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are held to determine the eligibility for lecturer and junior research fellowship.
