B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and is basically a degree program. As per your question, it seems that you are willing to pursue Diploma in Education/Elementary Education and than appear for CTET. So, candidates holding a Diploma in Education/Elementary Education can definitely appear for CTET provided you have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Higher Secondary examination. For candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC category, the required percentage of marks in the higher secondary examination is relaxed upto 5%.

However, if you pursue Diploma in Education/Elementary Education from an institute recognized by National Council for Technical Education, you will be considered eligible to appear for CTET even if you have scored 45% marks in the Higher Secondary examination conducted by a recognized board.

when wiil the next CTEt exam take place?

I have done PG and B ed from University Of Kashmir. Am I eligible to sit in CTET? If yes will I be allowed to apply for both I and II PAPERS.

Can I do ctet while i am persuing b.ed at this time.
