Admission at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Itanagar, is done on the basis of the merit list through JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) conducted by the government of Arunachal Pradesh. After nomination candidates have to gone through the counseling process done by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. Then candidates have to take admission to the institute personally and follow the steps instructed by the institute.
