Am I eligible to clear backlogs of Diploma Electrical Engineering course with 5 years gap?

Hello, I have 2 backlogs in Diploma Electrical Engineering course, in 1st and 4th semester. Due to these 2 backlogs, I haven't got certificate. I am very much in trouble of finding and getting jobs. Now, I want to clear backlogs but its been 5 years of doing Diploma course. So, can I be eligible to clear backlogs?
