Re: Am I eligible for IIT JEE exam being a diploma final year student?
No, you are not eligible for IIT JEE after diploma from a recognised university.
The eligibility to appear for joint entrance examination to get admission in IIT is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with PCM as main paper. The examination is conducted in two stages as Main and Advanced stage. So, you will be not eligible to appear for examination. |

Re: Am I eligible for IIT JEE exam being a diploma final year student?
Yes, you are eligible to appear in IIT JEE examination being a Diploma final year student. To be eligible to appear in IIT JEE examination, you should have to appear, qualify and secure top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination but, your JEE Main examination score or rank can't be used to apply for admission in NITs. So, if you qualify JEE Main examination, you are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination and by securing good rank in JEE Advanced examination, you can get admission in IIT for pursuing your higher studies.

The admission of candidate will be done in IIT college on the basis of JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION.
Eligibility Criteria ** Candidate must have passed 12th class with PCM from a recognized board. ** The age of candidate must be in between 17 to 25 years. As per my knowledge, you are not eligible for IIT JEE exam being a diploma final year student |

Re: Am I eligible for IIT JEE exam being a diploma final year student?
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination.
*There are two stages of JEE examination, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Student who clear JEE Main write Advanced exam and those who clear advanced stage get admission in IIT. *Diploma candidates are eligible for JEE Main only. They can get admission in NITs but not in IITs as they can not write JEE Advanced exam. For JEE advanced PCM candidates are eligible. *Diploma candidates can also apply for state LEET exam for admission in Bachelor of technology in second year directly. |
