No, diploma candidates are not eligible for Assistant Sub-Inspector post of Tamilnadu police.

Only graduate candidates from a recognized University are eligible for Assistant Sub-Inspector post of Tamilnadu police.

Your age should be below 30 years.

To apply for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector, a candidate must be graduate from a recognized university. If your diploma degree is equivalent to graduation degree then you can apply only, if not then get the graduation degree. Your height must not be less than 170 cm. So, better to complete graduation from a reputed college or university then apply for the same.
