Getting admission in any Government Polytechnic with a rank of 18541 is very difficult if you belong to General category.

There are some chances if you belong to a reserved category like SC/ST and Physically handicapped. The number of Government Polytechnic Institutes is very less and you need to get a very good rank if you belong to a General category.

If you are willing to get admission in a private college then surely you will get admission. You can attend the counselling and hope for the best.

JEXPO is a Polytechnic entrance exam conducted by West Bengal State Council, and through this exam if you want to get the admission to the government polytechnic colleges then you will have to get the rank under 2000.

As your rank is 18541 so it will be difficult for you to get admission to the government colleges.

So, it will be better for you to prepare well and take the exam next year and get a good rank so that you can get admission to the government colleges.
