AMIE - Associative Member of Institution of Engineers

You can do AMIE once you have got membership for it as only membership candidates are eligible for AMIE exam. Being a Civil draughtman you are eligible for joining as Associative Member.

The AMIE course is recognized in India and abroad and is equivalent to B.tech/B.E by UPSC, PSC,AICTE and etc.

The eligibility needed for joining in as Associative Member is that the candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech with minimum of 21 years age are eligible. The membership fee for Associative member is Rs 3200.

The candidate who passes the AMIE exam is considered as a B.tech/B.E holder for job and higher education. The exam is a written type exam of 3 hours duration. The course fees depends on the the basic qualification.

• For +2 holders : Rs. 27,000
• For Diploma holders : Rs.21,000
