Sir i have completed diploma(lateral entry) in mechanical engineering. So, please tell me can i apply for locopilot post??

Eligibility for the post of Locopilot after Diploma:-

Yes, you are eligible for railway loco pilot after completing diploma in mechanical engineering course.

Only electrical or electronics or mechanical or automobile engineering steam is required for this job.
The candidates age must have reached 18 year, but should not have reached 30 years can apply for the exam and upper age relaxation will be given into reserved category candidates.

Eligibility for the post of Loco pilot is given below:-

Those candidates who have completed his 12th or equivalent from a recognised Board of Education and who have completed his diploma in automobile or in mechanical or in electronics or in electrical are eligible to apply for the loco pilot post.

Age limit is between 18 to 28 years.

The eligibility for the post of Loco Pilot is a candidate must have qualified class 10th or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board. A candidate must have completed Act Apprentice or ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering from a recognized institute by AICTE.

To become a Locopilot a candidate should be between 18 years to 28 years. The reserved category candidates get relaxation in the upper age limit according to the rules.

Those who have completed ITI course from any recognised by NCVT or SCVT are eligible.
Those who have done diploma in engineering in any of electrical/electronic/mechanical/automobile stream from any AICTE recognised institution are eligible.

The entrance exam conducted for Assistant Loco pilot conducted by RRB is a computer based test.
Only after qualifying stage I candidates are invited for stage II of recruitment.

The Eligibility for the post of locopilot is , candidates must have 10th degree with ITI certification or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum age limit should be 18 year and Maximum 28 year.
