Dear Sir, can you tell me about the eligibility criteria for getting admission and studying Diploma in Electrical Engineering course in Dehradun Institute of Technology? I want to do this course so I want to know about the eligibility criteria of this institute. Kindly tell me asap.

For a diploma in Electrical Engineering course, you need to have a class 10th minimum qualification from a recognised board of education. Admission will be on the basis of polytechnic entrance exam conducted on the state level where the institute is situated.

Hence, have to appear for the polytechnic entrance exam of Uttarakhand state because the institute is situated in Dehradun.

Eligibility to study Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Dehradun Institute of Technology;

Those students who have passed the Class X or its equivalent examination with Science, Mathematics and English subjects with at least 50% marks from a recognized board are eligible to study the Diploma in Electrical Engineering course at Dehradun Institute of Technology – DIT University. Scope for the Electrical Diploma holders in the job market is high. All the manufacturing and production industries use electricity and electrical machineries. Therefore, candidates with the Diploma in Electrical Engineering are needed.
