Eligibility to study Diploma in Ophthalmology for BAMS doctor?


Hello friends, I have successfully completed BAMS course. I am also practicing under a Doctor. But I don’t want to stop my study. I am interested to do course named Diploma in Ophthalmology. As I have heard that this is a unique course which few candidates do. So, I have chosen this course. Kindly confirm me that I am eligible or not for this course?

Eligibility for Diploma in Ophthalmology
Interested candidates for the course must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
• Completion of Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Graduation needs to be done from a MCI recognized university or equivalent

Diploma in Ophthalmology is a postgraduate medical Ophthalmology course. Candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree in a relevant field from MCI recognised university or equivalent. Admission to the same is generally based on entrance exams. Duration of the course is one year.

Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye.
The duration of the course is one year but it may be more or less than this depending on rules and regulations of different institutes.
Candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree in a relevant field from MCI recognised university or equivalent.
Admission to the same is generally based on entrance exams.
