I have passed 10th with 65% and
i am living in assam i want to do
polytechnic from now onwards. How can i?

Procedure for admission for 10th passed student:

. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in aggregate in class 10th to be eligible for diploma course.

. Candidates will have to clear the entrance test conducted by the Technical board in the respective states for admission in Polytechnic colleges.

. Entrance exam is generally conducted in the month of May.

. Application forms will be available 2 months before the exam.

. The forms will be available at Polytechnic colleges and online in the official website.

You can study Polytechnic course in Assam after your 10th Exam by clearing PAT (Polytechnic Admission Test). There is no restriction in marks or grade.

Admission Criteria:

1. Candidate should have passed 10th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.

2. Selection will be on the basis of PAT (Polytechnic Admission Test) conduct by Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.

Procedure:

1. Applicants are required to apply only through Online mode.

2. Log on to http://www.dteassam.in and click on Apply for Diploma Courses.

3. Applicants will need to deposit Rs. 400/- along with the generated Challan in any Branch of SBI.

4. Applicants have to download their Admit Card through online.
