Passing section A & B exams from Institution of MEchanical Engineers (India) is equivalent to AMIE?


Sir, I have passed section A & section B exams from institution of mechanical engineers (India) mumbai. Is my qualification is AMIE or not? Please tell me the difference between both.

No, it is not equivalent to AMIE. You need to pass all the sections with passing marks to get the AMIE qualification. If you have not completed the said course, then you will not be eligible for the said qualification.

Also, AMIE main Institute is in Kolkata. You can apply for registration through the official website and study at your own pace.
