With your rank of 17255 it will be very difficult to get admission in a government college but being an SC category candidate is a plus point for you because cut off rank for admission for SC candidates is always difficult to predict.

Hence, you can appear for counselling if you are called for it. Allotment of government college will depend on your stream most probably.
