Hello Sir, I am diploma holder from Kashmir government polytechnic and I want to get admission in B.Tech lateral entry at AMU. Please Sir, give me information.

To get lateral entry admission in B.Tech course at AMU, you should have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. You have to appear in AMUEEE examination conducted by AMU and participate in the counselling process to get admission for pursuing B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process.

In order to get lateral entry for B.Tech course at Aligarh Muslim University, you should have completed your diploma with minimum 40% to 50% marks from a recognized institute. Then you have to appear for lateral entry examination conducted by the university through which you can get direct admission in the second year of B.Tech course. You can visit the official website of AMU and fill up the application form for the course.

Candidates those who have completed Polytechnic Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply for lateral entry admission in 2nd year of 4 years B.Tech/B.E course in the respective engineering stream in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). In order to get lateral entry admission in AMU for B.Tech/B.E course, you must have to appear and qualify in AMUEE examination which is conducted my the University itself. According to your performance in the aforesaid examination you will be given admission.
