MBA is a University approved karikulam has mostly theoretical based and uniform across institutes affiliated to a University.
Mostly semester based system. Accredited by University grants commission. PGDM is a diploma course and it is industry oriented program focus more on building soft skills. Mostly trimester based system. It is a credited by all India council for technical education. Both MBA and PGDM are viewed as equivalent during recruitment. |

MBA is a Master of Business Administration course whereas PGDM is a Post Graduate Diploma in Management course.
