What is the pattern of the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test 2020?


I am going to apply for the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test to secure a seat for Polytechnic course. I don’t know about the examination pattern of this polytechnic test of this year. If any of you know it then please tell me also.

The pattern of Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test 2020:-

Number of question -150
Maximum marks - 600
Duration of exam - 3 hours
Sections in paper - 4
Type of questions - MCQs
Marking scheme - for each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded
Negative marking - for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

The pattern of Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test 2020-

Questions will be multiple choice questions with four answer options for a single question.

Derivation of exam is 3 hours with total 150 questions.

There is a provision for negative marking in this exam of -1 mark for every incorrect answer.

Plus 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

You can check the pattern of HP PAT 2020 here-

Duration of exam- 3 hours

Total number of questions - 150

Questions type- MCQs

Number of sections- 4

Subjects in each section- mathematics, physics, Chemistry, English

Questions from each section- 50, 50, 25, 25 questions from maths, physics, chemistry, English respectively.

Marks for each subject- 200, two hundred, hundred, hundred marks for each section.

Total marks- 600

4 marks for right answer and 0.25 marks are reduced for every wrong answer.
